Henry L. Setliff, M.D.
Henry L. Setliff, MD is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is the President of Raleigh Radiology, Inc. and is the Medical Director of Imaging Services at Raleigh General Hospital.
Dr. Setliff, a Raleigh County native, joined Raleigh Radiology, Inc. in 1987. He has expertise in all areas of Diagnostic Radiology including Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasonography, Mammography, Radionuclide Therapy, Biopsy and Drainage procedures.
Dr. Setliff is a 1979 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of West Virginia University, double majoring with a B. A. in Biology (Beta Beta Beta) and a B. A. in Chemistry (Phi Lambda Upsilon). He received his Medical Degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1983. His Diagnostic Radiology Residency was completed at the University of South Florida in 1987.
C. Richard Daniel, Jr., M.D.
C. Richard Daniel, Jr., M.D. is certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is the vice-president of Raleigh Radiology, Inc. and Chairman of Radiology at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Daniel is a Beckley native. He attended public schools in Beckley and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1974.
Dr. Daniel earned his Medical Degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1982. He completed an internship of General Surgery at the Charleston Area Medical Center in 1983. His diagnostic Radiology Residency was completed at the University of Mississippi Medical Center from 1983-1986. Prior to that, he graduated with Honors from West Virginia University in 1978 with a B.A. in Biology (Beta Beta Beta). He is a member of Mountain Honorary of WVU.
Dr. Daniel joined Raleigh Radiology, Inc. in September 1991. Prior to this he worked from 1986-1991 with his father - also a radiologist at Beckley Hospital and Beckley Medical Arts Clinic.
Alan M. Lintala, M.D.
Alan M. Lintala, MD is Certified by the American Board of Radiology, and is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of Raleigh Radiology.
Dr. Lintala earned his Medical Degree at the West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1991. Dr. Lintala was Chief Resident while completing his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Chicago from 1991-1995. Prior to that, he received a B.S. degree in Zoology at the University of Rhode Island, Kingston in 1982. Dr. Lintala also received a M.S. degree in Anatomy at the West Virginia, Morgantown in 1986.
Dr. Lintala joined Raleigh Radiology, Inc. in August, 1995 and has experience in all areas of Diagnostic Radiology, including Ultrasound, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Mammography, Angiography, Biopsy and Drainage, and Radiocine Therapy.
Shawn DeWayne Reesman, M.D.
Shawn DeWayne Reesman, M.D., is a West Virginia native born in Parkersburg. He began his academic career as a radiologic technologist at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital where he graduated with the Outstanding Academic Performance Award 1987 - 1989.
Dr. Reesman received his Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia State College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of Beta Kappa Chi and Alpha Kappa Mu. Dr. Reesman received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington in 1996, after which he completed a general surgery internship at Marshall University School of Medicine..
Dr. Reesman received his residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at West Virginia University in 2001, where he was the recipient of the Roentgen Resident/Fellowship Research Award, 1999. He is a graduate of Pro Scan Imaging's Magnetic Resonance Imaging Fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Reesman brings to Raleigh Radiology excellent Fellowship Training in MRI, especially in the Musculoskelatal, Breast and Cardiac subspecialties.
Mercedes E. Ramas, M.D.
Mercedes E. Ramas, M.D. received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech. She went to West Virginia University for her medical degree. Her residency was completed at Medical College of Virginia. After working two years as a locum tenens radiologist, she is glad to return to Beckley to join Raleigh Radiology, Inc.
P. David Ratcliff, Jr., DO
Dr. Ratcliff is a West Virginia native. He earned his Medical Degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Michigan State University / Garden City Osteopathic Hospital in 2009.
Dr. Ratcliff joined Raleigh Radiology in July 2009.
